On being taught by students

How would you feel when you are being taught by a student—A classmate?
Try to recall what happened in the last “know your school day” activity.
Try to recall what the student principal did, recall what the student clerk did ,what the student faculty members did.
And what the student teachers did...
How does it feel to be taught by a fellow classmate?
I was surprised to know that there were student teachers in all subjects. There were no real teachers that stepped in our room .All were students. But even if all teachers were student, the real teachers did not took a rest. They were making sure that the school is at a good condition.
It is a great feeling to know that all the students want to be teachers.
All of us experienced being taught by a fellow classmate.
We learned after their discussion and they also learned from their own experience of teaching.
Probably, some students realize how important teachers were.
In the morning, there was the giving of Ids to the students to indicate that they are teachers.
Before the bell rings for the first period,I had a mixed feeling.
Mixed feeling of thrill, excitement and a mix feeling of fun.
Thrill because we still don't know who the teacher will be for the period. I was excited because of the fact that they were my classmates.
Fun,because I know that the student teacher can jam with us.
During the discussion or should I say,my classmates, there were laughter in the whole room.
It's sad because some students did not participate in the discussion. Some kept on telling jokes that's why there was laughter. But you know, after the class, the teachers were happy. Some students did listen and some did not.
In short,the classroom was like a supermarket(joke!),no...It was like a mall(another joke!)...it was like a...classroom(that's the fact).

The next day was also the last day for the “ know your school day “ activity.
In the morning,as usual, the clerk rang the bell and the first period took place .As usual, if the section's “student teacher” is still their classmate ,there will still be no silence .The classroom was still like a supermarket. The 2nd period,recess,3rd sub,4th ,lunch,5th,6th,recess and the 7th period took place consequently. The last day was shortened because the time in the afternoon will be used for the closing ceremony. This ceremony includes the giving of the certificates(certificate of participation) to those students who applied as clerk, principal, assistant to the principal, faculty members, and last but not the least, those students who applied as teachers in the different subjects.
Many students were given the certificates. The certificate is very simple yet it has a very big meaning for us students.
It has a sentimental value for us. Just imagine that you will be given a very special paper for a thing you did not sacrifice for,it will only be thrown away, whereas,if it has a sentimental value, even how simple that thing is ,you will still keep it as souvenir.
Now, May I answer the question?
Again,I had mixed feelings at the time.Imagine, you will be taught by a student, some are even younger than you.
The KYSD went well, some got tired and some did not.Well,I hope the nextyears KYSD will be as successful as the KYSD this year....
