Reflections of teachers on teaching

When the student council officials announced the start of “Know Your School Day”(KYSD”), Everyone was busy: running here and there to get the teacher’s signature which means approval for the desired position. Each of those students who applied hoped to be accepted. Those students,which were accepted as teachers in different subjects were given the responsibility to teach the given topic to there students.Those students which were not accepted in their desired position looked for another way,some applied to another subject,some applied on the differrent positions in the faculty and some just did nothing. One might think that it is an easy job to teach. Actually, it’s not. You can only say it’s an easy job when you’re not in the position, but when you are put in that place,you might eat your words.It does not only mean that you will talk,explain in front of the class and shout at the top of your lungs,in fact the objectives are more than what you think.We, or the students were assigned to these positions not only to teach our fellows, but also to improve our skills and to enhance our abilities.They are practicing us to be ready in facing the changing world.They are training us to have self-confidence and for us to experience such.This does not mean that one will look at his or herself higher than those of the others,because everyone is equal at all times. It was my first time to join activities like the KYSD,
and for me,it's great.I experienced how to be a teacher.In my first lecture,as usual,their were butterflies on my stomach.But after the lecture,i realized that it was worth it.Being a student teacher ,you should act like it also.It is not easy you know, when you're in front of the class---your class rather, especicially when all of your classmates are watching over you; whatever you do.You will become shy, but i have learned something from it: we are trained to have self-confidence----to face those who put us down and to learn to stand alone. As a student teacher,I realized how important teachers are.They do not only teach you about these things but they also,are helping you in building your future.Teachers try their best to develop your potentials and to help you stand up alone in your feet.They are our second parents: who look after us; in what we are doing and encourages us to stand up with our head
raised up high if we fail.
The know your school day went alright.Everyone learned something from it.But of course,some did not like the activity.The importance of the activity is for us to learn something out of it.If i were to be asked "What have you learned in the activity?",I would answer:That teaches us on how to have faith on ourselves.It taught us on how to have sef-confidence.How to face your fears and most of all, it made us realized the importance of a teacher..
